How to Add Additional Seats to a Group
If you have already created a group and wish to add more seats, the process is easy.
First ensure that you are logged in.
Then head to the ‘Group Management’ page (from the ‘Teacher Area’).
Select the correct group and click on the ‘Add Seats’ button.
You will then be taken to the ‘Shopping Cart’ where you can purchase new seats for the selected group.
THE QUANTITY YOU ENTER MUST BE THE ‘TOTAL NUMBER OF SEATS YOUR GROUP SHOULD HAVE AFTER THE NEW SEATS ARE ADDED’!
For example, if you had a class of 26 students and wanted to purchase 1 more seat, you need to enter 27 as the quantity.
Don’t worry, the price of the 26 seats will be deducted from your final price. You will not be charged for seats that you have already purchased.
Once you have completed the purchase, head back to the ‘Group Management’ page and you will see that you now have an extra seat to issue to your new student.
Download the key and issue it to them.
They can then visit the website, select ‘Sign Up With Teacher’s Key’ from the ‘Student Sign Up’ menu, and create their account with the key.
*Please note that if you purchase the additional seat via BACS or cheque, the new seat will not appear in your group management page until I manually approve the order (usually within 24 hours – often much quicker).
